this seems EXTREMELY low. Are you sure they are rotated properly?
Yeah I agree. Something doesnt seem right, but otherwise great writeup.

Farmundeh, How far down does your hang? I don't recall it being as low a Husker's. Now I've got concerns before I order mine if I can clear the massive number of speedbumps in my townhome complex.

I checked clearance at lowest point, 4" between pipe & pavement.

Please let me know your clearance if you have the same system installed for comparison.

ARH needs to mark the pipes Left & Right and Up/Down for H Pipe and extension pipes between H & Mufflers, IMO!

Does anyone see in the pictures where I might of messed up?

Looks to me like it's this point where you may have incorrectly rotated the pipes before tightening them. (then again, I have no idea)

you can also check out the cjponyparts video I posted for a little additional help for where the parts go.

also, it looks like your h-pipe isn't flat (parallel to the ground) and rotated slightly.

I'll try taking pictures today or tomorrow. I leave for work fairly early and it's dark by the time I get home, but i'll try to get some in the AM if it's bright enough.

It hangs lower than I'd like it to, but for the record i've yet to hit anything and there are plenty of large speed bumps in Astoria around me. Even with all the snow that we've gotten lately and the chunks of it left all over the middle of the road, I haven't made any contact that I can hear or feel. I put 500+ miles on the car last weekend going to Northern VA and i didn't have any issues with the exhaust. I didn't hit anything when entering and leaving my sister's apartment garage complex.

they seem higher in this video (I'm assuming they are similar), see how they go AROUND

husker, you should definitely re-adjust your pipes.
I agree something is not aligned correctly that is way too low. Look at 16:15 in the video where he twists the midpipes and the whole back end goes up and down. This is more than likely where the problem is.

^ #2 reason (besides the product itself) why you buy ARH over the competitors. This level of CS answers calls and being here to answer questions/troubleshoot any problem no matter how small.

Spoke with ARH today-->:first:

Short version, I was offered a new system, I said NOPE, let me try the adjustments suggested first, then, if it didn't fit properly, I'd go for the new system.

It was suggested I loosen all clamps and tuck system up. I didn't have time to do a thorough job.

Jacked up the rear & loosened the rear two clamps on the Pipe extensions between H & Mufflers. I was able to gain an inch (5" clearance now)...I can see, when I get time, that loosening all the clamps and getting some leverage and maybe a helper, I'll be able to get at least 6" or more of clearance between pipes and pavement.

Thanks for helping me today ARH...Another company that frequents this site I strongly recommend-->

Bottom line it was ME not ARH that messed up-->:headbonk:

I put quite a few miles on her today...Love that exhaust note-->:headbang:

+1.

When I posted about the left side of my exhaust hanging lower a few weeks ago, Steve immediately reached out. I ended up getting it fixed at a shop in Queens since I couldn't make it out to their HQ (it was a 5 minute job), but ARH is definitely on top of things.
