One dealer here didn't have the allocation for my car and wouldnt tell me where my DORA was. Went to another dealer and they had more than enough of an allocation for mine.

I didn't know allocation was a thing back then. I still don't have my DORA. I asked for it and was ignored.

My dealer wouldn't give me the DORA either, it felt sketchy and the sales manager even complained to me about the number of allocations they got for Feb. I started worrying I was in the ordered-without-allocation boat but sure enough I got a VIN & build week today. So not having the DORA does not always mean they are trying to screw you.

Depending on the dealer an order code of 19 may not be the end of the world. By me if a dealer has three he has a lot, by contrast my father was looking at them while his 07 was getting worked on in FL (Matthews Currie) and they have 15 on the lot.

Depending on the dealer an order code of 19 may not be the end of the world. By me if a dealer has three he has a lot, by contrast my father was looking at them while his 07 was getting worked on in FL (Matthews Currie) and they have 15 on the lot.

I just talked to my GSM, and he confirmed the priority 19 wasn't an issue.:amen:

Just ask if the dealership has allocation space for a customer order for the car you want to order. Without an allocation space to order, your wait could be longer. Most of the time this shouldn't be an issue.
