Has anyone measured the inside clearance on the front PP wheels. i.e. wheel to suspension or tire to suspension? Just trying to figure out how much offset change is doable for the front.

From the outside edge of the 255 tires to outside of the front fender is ~3/4", and to the inside it's ~ 1/2". Of course for this to be critical the outside diameter of the tire would have to grow an inch or two... unless of course your are confronted with some rather large bumps or pot holes, the front suspension is pretty stiff.

I am going with a 19x10 +40 , 275 or 285/40-19 square setup for my PP. Based on my calculations, the fronts will move out .7 inches towards the fender while the rears will move out .74 inches. Not only will I be able to rotate tires due to track days, I will have more of a flush fit. Hope my math is right and to help some along the way :)

I don't know what the stock clearance is on the fronts for the GT PP, but the rest if the inch you are adding to the front will be taken up there .3" less clearance. Let us know if it works!

There are formal reports of good fits with TSW 20's with the same width and offset so I am pretty sure this will be good. Also, forgestar confirmed that the spec I chose will clear the pp brembos. Will post once I get them.

Let me know when you do this. I am looking to do a 19x10 square setup as well.

Nice chart, very helpful. I'm curious, is there a reference somewhere that lists the country of origin of the OEM wheels? Cruising ebay for a winter set of the stock 17" wheels, I noticed that they are made in china. :( A bit of a bummer, but not unexpected in today's world. Is this the case with all the different syles of OEM wheels?

Hi Guys,

Jim from Australia.

Finding info on wheel offsets for OEM wheels can be a real pain but on my Ford here, the offsets are cast into the inside (back) of a spoke on the wheel.

Is it the same over there in the US?

I have a V6 vert with the stock 17".
i called the dealer to as about the stock rims, he said they show up in the system as 17x8, not 17x7.5...
