Hello Everyone! Nice to meet you all!

I live in Pleasant Prairie just over the IL border, but I grew up in Gurnee. I currently work in Waukegan and still spend alot of time in IL with friends and such. I would definitely be in for a spring meet!

Question...does anyone know of a performance shop in the Chicagoland area that could do a header install for me? I'm close to pulling the trigger on a full Stainless Works exhaust system. I can do the catback myself in my driveway if I wanted to skip the headers for now...but I'm leaning toward the full system and I have zero experience with headers.

I'm looking for a shop that's reputable and has experience with V8's...to help keep labor costs down since they will know what they are doing. Preferably in the Northern burbs so I don't have to drive too far into Chicago.

Pulled up at Zak's Pizza Pasta & Wings in Lombard on 01/30 and saw that another Ecoboost was already parked up. Mine is the black one. Does the magnetic one belong to anyone here?

Holy crap I hope those were snow tires and not the PP summer tires! Did you use snow mode?

LOL, Michelin X-Ice Xi3 and yes on the snow/wet mode. Works like a charm through snow banks and up pretty steep grades. Not that we have too many of those in and around Chicago.

That's cool. I pulled my car out of the garage to install my SW catback last weekend and could barely get it back in the garage on my slight inclined drive and stock All Season Pirelli 19" 255s.

This was at 10pm Sunday night...after my drive into work (I work 3rd shift). It had been snowing all day...the Pirelli P-Zero Neros did surprisingly well!

Is It spring yet?
No kidding, I have a car with barely 100 miles with a new SW catback under a cover in the garage and it's killing me.

Got my windows tinted yesterday and earlier today I installed my SW catback. Took me about 3 hours...but that was having to prep my garage (only have one bay), clean it out (from all the snow and water), heat it with a propane heater and then get the car on jack stands. How I wish I had a lift. Sounds beast.

I gotta hear any of the aftermarket exhaust people have for their GT's so I can pinpoint which one I want.
