I have Recaros too. If it's possible to program this, I'd like to know.

Holy cow this is so pathetic. You really mean to tell this should be an option a "sports car"...really? On big huge bus sized luxury car, sure. The old school hot-rodders from the 50's & 60's would be laughing their ass's off if they read this. And there's a back up camera too!! Wow.
I've had it on 3 Porsche 911's. They're sports cars, right?

Yup, sure is...but just don't see the need for it on a sports car...any sports car! It's not like you're trying to park a limo. If you're not very good at backing up, roll down the window & stick your head out it & look down. Never mind, that would take too much effort to push the window button twice. Really???

Wow… you're probably a lot of fun at parties. Relax a bit.

I have a regular spot that really requires backing in, and the curb is on the passenger side. I'd prefer to get very close on the first shot and not get curb rash on the wheels.

Some people don't see the need for a lot of things, but it doesn't mean those things don't have value… Do you need 435 HP? Do you need leather seats? Do you need power steering? Do you need a 30 round magazine on your rifle?

It doesn't add any weight, hardly, and is a cheap addition to car. Most modern cars, YES SPORTS CARS, have it now too… I was surprised this car didn't considering all the other options that come standard and/or are options.

What about the back up mirror? I back into my driveway every day. Those lines running down both sides of the screen are actually very accurate. I can put tires right the edge of my concete every time. Sorry, but just don't see the purpose of turn down mirrors when you have back up camera. Btw....I'm a riot at parties, or some cases, incite them.

I didn't trust those camera lines as being that accurate. I'll practice on my driveway as well where there is no risk of curb rash.

What is the price of a new Porsche 911? Again. You are getting what you are paying for. Porsche = Luxury / Mustang = cheap! But I am sure that some aftermarket company will come up with something.

Check out the $95,000 and up cars with fully electric mirrors. (I am not sure if the $95,000 has them. Maybe the $151,000?)

It is really funny what Mustang drivers like to have on the car direct from the factory. I would be happy if FORD could get out a Mustang with only the doors and panels proper aligned. My Mustang doors suck! :clap2:

Well, my wife's Honda also has them. It's not an expensive item.

I only mentioned the Porsche because even though I paid a lot for those cars, the question was brought up whether or not the option should be on a 'sports car'. Not about how expensive it is.

No way to say it without sounding like a troll or old man but seriously..... people need cameras, alarms, tilting mirrors, side scan sonar, OTH radar, to back up a #$%^ing car???

really?

You guys are wound too tight… It just helps… geez. It's not like it's a deal-breaker.
Some cars have them, some don't. A simple, "nope. Ford didn't put it on this car," is all that's needed.

A bunch of holier-than-thou BS about what a 'real sports car' should or shouldn't have is just noise.

I'm not saying anything about a sports car. I'm saying its insane that people need more electronics than an Apache gunship to back a car out of a parking space. Its getting ridiculous.
