Other than the the sticker noting the torque spec and the supposed anti-vibration coating (Vibra-tite?) on the threads of the GT350 FL-2069-ST spin-on oil filter, are there any other differences from the common FL-500S filter? My local dealer had both filters in stock and we sure couldn't see any visible differences between the two filters nor could we tell if there were any internal differences.

I'm Just curious why Engineering altered the filter spec for the Voodoo engine? I couldn't find any "tear apart" videos dissecting the GT350 filter so I'm wondering if there are any unique characteristics or specifications like filter media, bonding adhesives, internal construction, micron rating, canister and end plate thickness, seal materials, bypass valve location and pressure, etc.? I've only used the FL-500S on my Mach 1 but Mustangs are raced and modified for all sorts of reasons and factory specifications aren't always about what's best for the customer. (I can tell you, first hand, plastic oil pans were always about what's best for the company's bottom line.)
