But a person can cut a circular hole and run a duct hose toward the brakes like they did on the early Shelby Mustangs. Hehe.
Will you put high temp clear on them after the decals to seal them?So I finally got around to painting the calipers today after painting the rotor hats. I used G2 caliper paint and had them make a custom batch for me in Velocity blue which is the same color as my car. They do this but charge extra for it.
Overall I am pretty happy with it, I will say it was way more work than I was expecting it to be with all the prep work. I painted the rotors with VHT black caliper paint.
In case anyone was wondering I did 4 coats on the calipers. I have gloss black brembo decals on the way but they have not arrived yet. Which is fine because I need to let the paint cure before putting on the decals.
That little bit of red on the caliper pins is just masking tape that I forgot to remove before taking the pictures.
