The sight glass is designed to be a min/max line. The reason for the dome style sight glass is completely intentional. The dome allows us to hide it in the back of the tank and still allow you to see when you are within the acceptable range when filling your tank from the top.LINK TO PRE-ORDER

I like it for the most part. But, I believe a "sight glass/tube" should be slotted and show more of where the fluid is at...vs. the "bubble" you put and the fluid is only showing in a small area to "fit into the desired bubble." Showing more of a "range" would be more desirable. I know that cost could be a factor...but, again...more "sighting space" would be better and easier for the user.
Thanks.
With a slotted style sight glass you have to view it head on to see your fluid level. That means it has to be on the side or front... that's ugly. I don't want an ugly sight glass always showing. Most people will only need to check the sight glass when filling up the tank or if a puddle appears under the car.
Thanks for your input.A slotted style glass can still be put on the back side. Easily seen with the green/yellow fluid contrasting against the black tank. The small bubble has little room to show "Min. and Max. coolant levels" Most all owners are used to what the factory gives as "sighting levels"....and they are easy to discern what is going on.
It can be done with this tank.
