Any aftermarket companies build a throttle body or an upper and lower intake for the new 2015 5.0s yet? Has to be more then a cold air, tune and exhaust set up right? Or is it still to early in the game? When ford did the .999 challenge, I read they built a "prototype intake system," any word on when that will be available? Thanks

Aftermarket throttle bodies for the 11-14's work on the 15's.

Regarding the intake - these are not fox bodies. The actual intake manifold is one piece. The stocker has proved to be great (AM went 10.6 NA)...but the BOSS IM will fit if you get drop engine mounts.

Also I believe the prototype intake set-up you read about is actually the Ford Racing cold air kit. Has nothing to do with the actual intake manifold.

The $600 price for throttle bodies is not worth the gain. Keep the stocker intake/throttle body until you go FI if you end up that route. Evolution has a prototype manifold that can be used on turbo/centri set-ups. No word on gains so far that I've seen with that intake. Or when/if it'll go into production either.

There are no gains for swapping a throttle body unless going forced induction or maybe a Cobra Jet intake manifold.

I do not know if BBK has updated the 85mm throttle body yet.. As of the end of November the 11-14 would not fit.. I purchased one at the end of November and it fits fine, the plug even fits but the electronics are different.
The car went into limp mode with dash lights on and would not rev above 2000 RPM....
Part # 1821 for 11-14 does not work....

Thanks for the info and I stand corrected...I thought they were a carry over from the 11-14's.
