You could just ask. I'm sure others have or will have the same questions.

I figured someone would say that. I'd like to talk in person if that's not a problem

The simple question is: does your car shift very hard at WOT or is it more of a smooth surge from one gear to next?

Tuned 6R80 auto here. My tune has increased line pressures for firmer shifts. At WOT, upshifts seems smoother than at partial throttle.

Thanks. Increasing pressure on mine increases the "surge" feeling on shift, but doesn't increase how firm, or how fast, it shifts. Best I can explain is it feels lazy.

I will take a guess here and say that your tune still has the "torque management" turned on. I had mine turned off so that the launch and shifts are much harder than the factory tune. Torque management softens things a bit to better manage how much power (torque) "hits" the drivetrain to make the car more civil to appease the vast majority of buyers.

The first thing he did was turn that off. Actually twice. Decreased it in one step then turned off in next.

Can you email or text me a short vid of a 2-3 wot up shift (with sound) please?

Edit: didn't mean to sound short. Very much appreciate the input. I'm going to call tomorrow or next day and talk with him. Best way to explain is that it's lazy. Almost like a time thing (a friend that has tuned them said it is a time value, but im not sure). Almost like its calling for shift at, say 3 (on a clock) but not shifting until 9. When I want it to shift at 6.
