When I saw this thread and realized I needed to have 1964 DNA, it was excruciating waiting for the dealer the submit the registration for my new 2015 Mustang after I picked it up. We cannot pre-order custom plates in NY, the current registration has to be active in the system. I kept choosing backup plates in case someone beat me to it. "Since64" was my second choice. Luckily nobody got 1964 DNA and it's on the way to me! Again, thanks Husker it's a great plate!
All of the 1964 DNA plates should meet somewhere in the middle of the good ole' USA for a picture! :headbang:
Lots of great ideas in this thread...My favorite is the 1964 DNA as well.

Thats funny, but the gas mileage on that thing can't be that bad, is it?

I absolutely agree. The level of creativity in this thread is simply amazing. I enjoy reading all of them and seeing them all on some sweet looking ponies!

I sent in my application today. First choice is 1964DNA, followed by EST1964 and SINCE64. I've got my fingers crossed for the first one but will be happy with any of them!

That looks amazing. And your car is absolutely beautiful. As a UT Vols fan, I almost went that route. But I'm living in the middle of Clemson country, and people would have thought I was a Tigers fan. Couldn't have that!

By the way, I like your screen name. I love Disney too. We head to Disney World three or four times a year. :)

Does anybody have experience with the CA DMV rejecting plates? Those fucktards government schlubs just sent me a letter basically rejecting my 1337PNY, stating "substituting numbers for letters, can confuse cops".

I'm f'ing pissed cuz they have basically f'ed me over but, I'm not going down without a fight.

Nope, never heard of that excuse for rejection.
What exactly did you put as the plate's "meaning" on your application?

Here in San Diego I recently spotted a Texas plate (not on a Mustang) that said YO FOOL.

I am surprised you guys can get away with it!

I put "Leet pony" :frusty: maybe that was my downfall. Still, these losers on the 4 person board that either approves/denies plates, google every meaning, so a simple google search can show that 1337PNY is purely innocent.
