I ordered mine here in WA about two weeks ago. The website said two months - so I am hanging tight. Our plates are made through Washington State Correctional Industries - aka prison.

You can't have women's underwear on your plates!I just ordered my black CO tags for my triple yellow GT-350 with black stripes. I ask for RJCOBRA it was marked as possibly offensive by the clerks computer. I guess I'll find out f I can get it in four weeks. My backup was COBRA-2, Also marked possibly offensive. Go figure.
Michigan’s online application asks what the meaning of the plate is. That seems sensible instead of an algorithm just rejecting bits.I just ordered my black CO tags for my triple yellow GT-350 with black stripes. Colorado also had a section for me to explain the meaning. The computer just flagged it as possibly offensive. Once they review my explanation, they should remove the flag.Michigan’s online application asks what the meaning of the plate is. That seems sensible instead of an algorithm just rejecting bits.
That's nice. Pretty much unlimited number of employees and counters at multiple locations some with varying "personal fees". Or the worst scenario if they add rejections to a database any future request checks. Doubt the latter because would only be a week before someone contests and wins and that whole process is scrapped. In Ohio they ask you at the counter at the DMV. If they are satisfied with your answer, your plate gets approved.
