ran my fastest draggy yet on the street. i launched on the sholder so there were a lot of pebles and dirt. Traction control on since im on the Street in a somewhat populated area . i blew thru traction control in 1st and second wih tires that are feathered to shit then 3rd hooked. the launch was good for once. i didnt bog! sooo much room for improvement . 8.03 1/8. I know that's not fast at all but for me it's my fastest and I've never been to the track with this car yet.
So my tuner has always had an issue with my idle/starting on E85 anywhere from 50° to 90° outside . It either bogs and dies on the cold start or on the hot start. So now I got to get my shit together and actually post I need help thread ugggggg. i may need to try different tuner since they said everything looks fine as the car as it dies in the logs. But that's for another day. funny enough when I reinstall the blower in February I had an air leak that slowly showed up and as I got the leak my E85 tune issues went away and they all came back when I fixed my air leak so this and the fact that my 93 tune doesn't do this this leads me to believe it's the tune but I can't say that until I 100% rule out mechanical issue because it wouldn't be right to complain about a tuner that did a good job and I just have an issue with my car I just don't really have anyone else to ask for help. Soon the drag radials come off and then my winter project starts. Got a passenger side baskets last Venturi thingy for the gas tank so I can put a an bulkhead in it if I need and not feel bad. I'm going to use a DW fuel pump from my last car as a passenger side lift pump. that will tee into the return. when the return is Flowing a lot at cruising speeds the pump is not on. But when I hit wide open throttle a hob switch will get it going the increase fuel demand will reduce the amount of flow in my return line in which case my lift pump will take over since it dumps back into the basket. This is purely cuz I'm bored and I don't feel like fixing my other car LOL the daily got a lot of rust on it from Northeast Winters
