I’m going to be installing a Roush SC kit and I’m going to have to add spacers to my strut towers in order to remount the brace. People say it’ll almost touch the hood or even go into the padding underneath it. I was thinking about getting a GT500 style vent hood to help with cooling of the engine and was curious if it has less or more clearance than stock. Has anyone done this and verified?

You could read the VMP in the stock hood insulation pad. This is the IKON hood off Amazon. It does have additional clearance and a functional vent. I love it.

I have the Cervini's hood. It has a lot of clearance. If you go this direction, send me a PM, I have some suggestions.
