Got some close ups of the candy red calipers? Car looks great

Painted my calipers today, huge fan of Ruby Red and wanted something a little different than the bright flat red so I found an offering from G2 which was Ford's Red Candy Metallic and changed the lugs to match. In love with how it came out, just need to clean my wheels

So Grabber Lime owners, is it a (live) bug magnet ?

Is it the colour, or is it something I’m using on the car that attracts them … ?

Remember I’m in the U.K., so we are not exactly tropical or known for our bugs, but they sure seem to like this car ?

I’ve been around for 48 years, in this house for 23 years and I have never seen these before, until the car turned up. Whilst not on the car, they have been around the car and on other cars on the drive :

And WTF is this thing ? Another first found near the car :

I even found a frog on it …

I've posted similar things before but... this is probably my all-time favorite Mustang color. And I'm probably the plainest, most boring owner ever. IDK what it is about GL but if the Mach had been available in GL it would have been the easiest decision ever. I'm a lurker / creeper here because I am envious of all of your cars. Dammit.

I did some before / after shots of my detailing around the vents and badges to remove the paint staining, and it really showed how the iPhone camera struggles with the colour. There is only about 20 minutes between the shots - before on left, after on right :

Just saw this post, my Grabber Lime always had bugs on it. During the summer I'd get off work and dead bugs all over it, I think the color attracted them and then they died from the heat.

Not mine in the pic but I had a Grabber Lime PP2

Yeas as stated above it was a true pp2. As far as I know you can get a pp2 in just about any color for that year (2020).
