Why did you get those stock wheels? Plan on upgrading? I had the chrome upgrade on my '13 Grand Sport which I loved.

600 miles and first wash and wax. Loving this car more and more.

Curious, have you thought about lowering it?

The nice thing with the Corvettes is that with a jack, jackstand and a 10mm wrench you can adjust the ride height. I got about 3/4 of an inch drop with the stock suspension, but mine came sitting a little higher than others since they use a range for the acceptable height value.
I was thinking about it but maybe after i get my driveway redone. That scuff guard underneath is so low I've already had it rub once while backing out.
Lol

I actually like them. I don't know what it is but the chrome flash just to me didn't look right on a Vette. The only thing I would consider is black but for now I'm very very content.

Don't worry about scraping the front airdam, that's why it's cheaply replaceable. Even in 4x4 mode my car I would scrape them on my C5, C6 and my C7. Once I lowered the cars I really didn't see much more scraping due to the location of the airdam in relation to the tires. The way the angles work out it's not like you will increase the scraping and hurt anything.

On the C7 it's nicer as the airdam is 3 parts if you have a non-Z51 and 2 parts if you have a Z51. On my GrandSport I was more worried about the chin spoiler that was all the way out front and would hit a curb parking if you forgot what you were doing (luckily I didn't, because the screw holes that held that on would tear under force).

I agree. I dislike chrome and for sure didn't want black that's why I went with the painted silver on mine. Funny that now I have a Mustang that is also white and has the black wheels and they are growing on me.

Lower it and drive up the curb at an angle. It's not as bad then. I can't give you the science behind it, but it does work.

Yeah after the first time that's what I do now. This car without the Z51 pack is actually an outstanding DD.

My wheels. The contrast looks great with the white body, black ragtop and red calipers.

Luckily for me my local dealer had this car in their showroom with everything I wanted except for the carbon fiber dash. It was there for 2 months and they wanted to sell it. I could not resist. Got a super deal on it.

DO you have a Mustang, too?
Nope I had a 2015 Limited Edition on order but after multiple delays and a bump in markup from 5k to 10k I bailed.
