12/15 Build Date

Well, I got an amazing surprise this morning! My car was showing "In order processing", no window sticker, and Rachel thought it would be built in January but I just checked and it is in production right now! It shows EDD of 2/3/2015, but I have a window sticker link and everything! Im so excited!!!

Congrats! What is the Blend Date on your Window Sticker? It is at the top and will look something like this: 120141217

Unfortunately the link for the sticker isn't working just yet (Invalid VIN error) but that is probably because of how recently it became available. It wasn't there at 6am this morning, but was at 9. Don't they usually take 24 hours to start working? I called my dealer and he is checking into the EDD for me and will call me back.

Yours and mine are probably going to go down the line close together. I went into production today also, and it looks like our orders are very similar. Mine wasn't supposed to be built until the week of 1-5-15. I've been waiting since 6-5-14 for this day! Exciting times!! :cheers:

The window sticker link does take about 24 hours to work after you go into production so tomorrow it should work. You go into production about 7 days before build but that would put you at December 24th which is the first day the Factory is closed for the Holidays. It is possible you both got a start date of 12/23 but it is also possible that you are set for 1/5 since that is the first day back to work after the holiday shut down. You may just be going to production this early so that you will be all set to start build the week of 1/5.

"Awaiting shipment" (to Houston by rail) today, production completed 12/16! EDD Unchanged at 1/30/2015.

Well that makes since. They wouldn't start on my car before the holiday and finish it afterwords though would they? I don't think I would want it sitting for a week half finished. Thanks though!

My guess is the 22nd will be the last production day with the 23rd being set up to finish up and clear the line. I can't imagine them leaving unfinished cars on the line but who knows.

I'm with you as well! Scheduled to build January 5th, just moved to "in production" today with a window sticker link that doesn't work yet. EDD hasn't changed though with a February 1 date.

It's my first car I've ordered so I was just wondering about order dates very close to each other. For example 11/07, 11/10, 11/13 and mine was on 11/11 and the EDD's do seem to vary greatly. Not complaining, just trying to understand the processes. Thanks for any and all info and hopefully our cars will come earlier than stated.
