I bought a used Korean 2019 Mustang EcoBoost Premium (the car was imported from Korea).
There is an audio welcome message every time I start the car. I am wondering if anyone knows a way to disable it.

Please see this link for a video of the issue. (Ford Audi Welcome Message)

Here is the troubleshooting I have done so far:
1- I tried to update the freeware from sync 3.3 to sync 3.4 version using a USB.
2- I tried factory resetting from the setting. (Master reset)
3- I tried soft reset by pressing & holding the radio power and skipping the track buttons for a few seconds until the system reset. (Soft reset)

Unfortunately, nothing from the above fixed the issue.
Does anyone, know how to disable this audio welcome message or has any suggestions?

Wow, I feel your pain.

I don't have a clue what the solution is, but maybe watching people take vengeance on electronics will give you a much needed laugh.

Holy crap! Yeah that would be annoying. Not only is it in Korean but they also swiped your start button! Curious why you opted for a used Korean export if you’re in the USA where US EB 550 are easily found? Was it dirt cheap? Sorry no help on the welcome message.

i am a korean, living in korea.

What you are hearing is a third party navigation greeting message which was installed by Ford Korea.

There are two ways to to disable it.

One is a softeware the other is hardware.

I assume you don't speak Korean? So I suggest you the hardware removal.

Inside glove box, you know there is a secret compartment where you keep your manual, opening with tiny yellow lever.

In there, you should find a small plastic box held by double sided tape. That is the third party navigation hardware Ford Korea installed.

I am not sure whether it is okay to just un plug everything before you turn it off via software, but if sync does't work properly after removal, you can plug them back.

I removed mine after I turned it off in softerware first but I assume there won't be a problem if you just remove it.

Let me know if it works. If it doesn't I will make a guide video of shutting down the software for you :)

This issue is fixed after unplugging the power cable from the navigation box inside secret compartment. Thanks so much man for your help. You saved me $200+.
