What does a "wait title" mean?
I believe they are still deciding if it will be totaled, rebuildable, etc..., but I may be wrong on that thought process.... in other words, insurance hasn't made final decision on status. What does a "wait title" mean?
Thanks @y2ksilverbullit
Looks good. I wonder how many of these cars are brought back?#1039 is not dead, it is mine

I’ve often wondered too how many salvaged 50th LE’s have been repaired (if possible). This thread is to track all salvaged 50th LE’s out of the 1,964, to give awareness to the fact that it has prior salvage history. It’s important to know the history on these very limited S550’s because sometimes if any salvage vehicle is repaired, a Seller may not divulge that bit of info to a potential Buyer.Looks good. This car was exported to Mexico with a salvage title and now with Mexican plates, I bought it fixed and currently in used in Mexico and US since I am on a border city and live in both countries. Currently 44k miles on it and working perfectly, chasis was not damaged and not so much was needed to repair.I’ve often wondered too how many salvaged 50th LE’s have been repaired (if possible). Can you give us any more info about #1039? Does it have a rebuilt title? Did you buy it and do the repairs, or did you purchase it after it was fixed?
They are all repairable . But to an insurance company they are not. To the guy with a body shop That can plug away at it when there is nothing else to do. And wants one. might fix one. Was there anything special parts wise to these over the other gt's? or was this a sticker and badge trim S/E.I’ve often wondered too how many salvaged 50th LE’s have been repaired (if possible).
