MISCHIEVOUS PURPLE S550 MUSTANG Thread

I ordered a Mach 1 in Mischievous Purple but I called and changed it to Eruption Green. I'm still really torn...... If the purple looks like mystichrome, I definitely want it, but if it's just a dark plum like it appears on the website I'd rather have the green.

Has anyone seen the actual color? All I've seen is a post on CJ pony parts showing what some paint guy thinks it'll look like, and then what's on Ford's website.

Has anyone actually seen this paint in the real world?

There's only one out in the "real world" at the moment, and the photos are at the start of this thread, but here it is again.

Can I ask when you placed your order? I placed my order on 3/11/22 and according my dealership who pushed the order through, they haven't gotten an acknowledgement about the order placed.

I think that’s only on the Ice White edition.

Oh man I was totally under the impression that they were clear, I guess I driped the ball on snagging the diode dynamics clear led taillights when they were on sale last night.

The Ice White and Stealth Edition both come with the clear tails. Ford released the images of the Stealth and California Specials at the same time, and both cars were Atlas Blue, so I can see where the confusion comes from.

I guess perhaps it was an option, someone posted this on Reddit showing several cars being shipped with the clear tail lights. They could be exports I guess. There are various different models and colors in the pic

The dealer gets instant acknowledgement on the computer (Web Based Dealer Ordering system) when they place the order, and you should get an email within a day or two. Go in and talk to the manager and ask for a screen shot of of your order on WBDO.

Did you sign an order sheet, with pricing listed, and put a deposit on it? If not, you are in for trouble, they can jack you around with price, etc.. Also, if you do place a special order before 4/4/22 you are due a $1000 when you take delivery.
