1/20/2022 - Ordered 2022 Mustang GT Base 6-speed in Eruption Green. Priority code 17. No updates from Ford since initial order.

o Order 1/8/2022 (with late avail color - material hold till 2/7/2022) - received email within 5 minutes acknowledging order.
o Received email on 1/27/2022 giving build week of 3/28/2022 and VIN
o Received email on 1/28/2002 moving build week to 4/4/2022

Could do order track to see order but not window sticker. Tried to do track order just now and now getting an error on it " This vehicle is not yet available in order tracking at this time, please check back later " So no idea what is going on there.

At least it is not only me. I am getting the same notice. I had a fear that they had "lost" my car in production as I have been able to see status over the last couple of weeks. HAHA

I did speak with Ford Performance today and they said that the tracking system is "intermittent" at best. According to them my M1 is in "Trim Line", and should be completed and shipped next week hopefully.

Ordered 13 December Eruption Green, Manual GT with custom pack 2, Magneride and Recaros on the 15th Ford cancelled order as Eruption Green is a late availability and would build to late for noise regulation coming into effect in the U.K. this year which effect the manual GT, so ended up choosing Atlas Blue
10th Jan had a estimated build date of 18th Feb
28th Jan have been assigned a Vin and a build date of 4th April, build date probably slipped with the 2 weeks plant closer and the 3 weeks planned for end of Feb beginning of March
Just makes me laugh that I could not have Eruption Green because of late availability and car is now being built after the introduction of Eruption Green
It’s the second time Ford has cancelled my order the 1st time was back when I ordered a MY18 in Triple Yellow, think it got cancelled because of a shortage of Magneride, had to reorder a MY19 in Need For Green, as Triple Yellow was discontinued, Ford did me a favour that time as Need For Green definitely the better colour, time will tell if they have done me a favour this time

Ordered 1/24. GT PP Grabber Blue with 6MT, AE, MR, etc. No word from Ford other than the initial order received email.

I ordered 1/25, since it's a buy-back I got priority. It'll be interesting to see what the ultimate difference is between our timelines.

I ordered 11/15. Got the confirmation email from Ford same day. I have not heard anything since. I checked in with the dealer last week and they still showed it as unscheduled.

I ordered GT in Eruption Green. I have not gotten a build date yet from Ford as of yet. Eruption Green goes into production next week. Hoping to get a build date soon.

I ordered the same colour on November 4. I just talked to my buddy who works at the dealer. He believes that in the next week or two there should be a VIN #

Awaiting scheduling. Also hoping for a later delivery (April or May) so I can actually drive it home!

Nope. Just Eruption Green and Mischievous Purple Metallic for GTs and Brittany Blue for Ecoboosts.

Crossing my fingers that it will not change anymore at this point and next week will be another update that it's built and in route to me!

First thing when I receive the car is head out to my buddy for a ceramic coating and window tint.

Update: Wife stopped by the dealership and confirmed back on the 15th that the car is in transit and was in Kansas. Dealership is expecting delivery of my order on April 2nd. I hope that is just a ploy to get it in a few days earlier and say look what we did it's early!! Either way, it seems that I may actually see my order within this week (fingers-crossed)....pictures to follow soon!

Confirmed with dealership that it was on it's way and they needed an hour to clean it up. Walked in signed a few documents and was on my way!
