Evening all,

I have the latest Sync 3 software, updated it last week, via USB in my 2021 Mustang GT Premium PP1.
Yet, I do not see my home address, via the GPS/Navigation. The weird thing is, I had a 2020 Ford Edge ST, and my address showed just fine.

I will add, my address is in a brand new subdivision, that is only 2 years old. Odd that my Edge ST showed it, but the Mustang does not show it.
Thoughts?

Because the SYNC update with the USB is just a software update. Maps is a whole different story. Post a screenshot of your map version. Also if you car can connect to your home wifi, It will update the maps over wifi but it will take days as it only download and install one file after engine cycled down.

Image below. Also, I did connect to WIFI last week, turned off the auto engine off, and let an update download and install. Even after that update, still no home address/location on the map. Weird one. Thanks

What’s your sync 3 version? Is it this?

I notice your build @Soulja4187 is newer than mine. Maybe because we have different cars, or something else...

yes my build is newer but we have the same sync if you have navigation. What you need to do is update you sync 3 system. Click on the link below put your vin number and download it.The update takes 20 minutes so go take a ride.

Odd, I felt just 2 weeks ago I did the Sync update, via USB.
Doing so again now, and it is showing build 21194. Thanks for the help!

if your car gps, travel link and other services stopped working is because Build 21098 broke something so ford just released this new update.

Just something I do....I never put my actual home address in the nav. I'll enter something close by just in case someone is nosy. I have a Walgreen's a mile or so away programmed as Home.

Good point. I actually was using the building across the main road from me. However, I had then noticed that my entire subdivision was not even showing on the map. Hence, this thread :)

Right, new build has been installed. Subdivision not showing on the map, yet. HOWEVER, the car was in the garage. I will be driving it later (just because one should - LOL), and I will check it then.

In other news, look at this road that is showing on the map, talk about hilarious!

you know that people could find out where you live by your tag. If someone is so interested in finding out where I live they will find a way. What you going to do cover your tag while driving?:crackup::facepalm::facepalm:

So did you update maps in the 2020 Edge. If not Maps 1.19 is showing your address and Maps 1.20 is not. Weird but possible.

Just a thought, but it's probably not the greatest idea to enter your exact home address into Sync in the first place.
