I mean, if the online articles say you can order a new Mach One now and my dealer says "Sure c'mon in and we'll get you squared away," how would I know any different that I couldn't just walk in and order a loaded Mach One and get exactly what the pictures showed in every online article at the time?

All I'm saying is, it should have been as simple as walking in my dealership and placing an order and getting exactly what I wanted, and Ford didn't make it that easy. I pretty much showed them the pic online and said "Build me THAT car."

That sucks. Are you going to find another dealer and try ordering again?

I originally wanted them to find me a PP2 car, and they flat refused. So they told me to order a new car and I chose to get a Mach One (since the PP2 option wasn't available any longer)

When I found out it wasn't what I was expecting, I went to a different dealer who procured me a PP2 from Ohio. I'm in GA. So I wound up buying the PP2 and I'm happy...but the Mach Ones I see ppl getting kinda stirs me lol...

I guess that's the long way of saying I *may* place another order maybe next year if I can pay this car down enough and now that I know what options I need to check lol

Try not to get too stirred up from the thread I start in about 6 weeks when mine gets delivered. It will look exactly like the picture you posted ;)
Except for Ford switching up the side emblems at the last minute. Bastards.

You know, the funny thing is that once we get the car and are behind the wheel, I'd bet that all the "suffering" to get to that point will vanish in our collective rear view mirrors. I'm hoping I magically get my Mach 1 delivery bumped a few weeks earlier, but FORD didn't ask. LOL.

I'm finished with that particular dealer. I bought 2 new cars from them but I won't buy from them again.

I told them as soon as I found out that that car wasn't going to be what I wanted and then they tried to strong-arm me into buying it when it showed up last week. Then when they had a new buyer lined up, then they wanted to say "Let us know when you're ready to buy your next new car!"

SMH.

Sorry if I came off pissy earlier, the whole experience made me ill. I was incredibly excited to get it, and it was my first time ordering a car ever.
I am sorry it didn’t work out for you! At least you stood your ground and walked away. I was in a very similar situation but the wheels were the giveaway on my order and the dealer worked with Ford Canada to get it rectified. Initially I was given the same story about the order and it was not their fault but the salesman is a friend of mine and really went to the wall with the sales manager. In the end the order was changed but I consider myself very fortunate because it is clear from reading the various threads on the forum that many other folks weren’t so lucky. It is exciting to order a new car and it shouldn’t end with a bitter taste in your mouth... I feel for you...

Thanks man! It sucks that other ppl have been through the same situation and didn't get resolved. I'm fortunate, I still got a PP2 I love...have you posted here or elsewhere about getting the order fixed for you? I read about that earlier, just wasn't sure if it was you or not.

The FJG with the handling pack...the pictures move me. No other way to describe it. It was love at first sight. I don't know how I'd react if I see one in person lol!

Yes I did right about my situation in an earlier thread. I did because I started reading other posts about people being confused about whether or not they actually had ordered a HP car. There was a lot of back and forth about the ordering software but in the end I was trying to encourage people to confirm their order with their dealer before the car was issued a VIN and became‘written in stone’... hopefully some people acted on it...

I’ve been obsessing about this car since it was first announced. I would have to think about it but off the top of my head I can’t remember the last time I wanted a car this bad. It definitely is suffering to wait!

I'm the same way. I keep checking the tracking of the car. In case you don't have the URL, go here and if you have your VIN number, it will give you a gesstimate:

https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/status

I can't explain why. Perhaps I'm bugging them so much, but my delivery to dealer day today, just went from 74 to 45, Holy Moly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll see. but dang.

I’ve been following through the same link but I’m a little skeptical about the delivery date. Zach @ granger gave me a March 23rd build date which aligns with my window sticker saying blend date March 22nd. It initially showed a delivery date of April 21st. Now it’s moved up to April 15th. I would be surprised if they can build it and get it here that fast but I certainly won’t complain. Ford, take your time and slow down with mine! I want it perfect!
