Not only that, but some of the dealership personnel are just plain clueless and their system isn't the best. When I ordered my '15, I had all the option codes on hand. At the time, the person entering the order had to select the premiere trim package (or whatever it was called) option to then be able to order the Redline seats/trim. It was more complicated than current because there was essentially two ways to order a Premium level GT, a 400A (mine) and 401A. I knew more about it than my salesman or the guy who ordered the cars, and they were joking that they should hire me to order their Mustangs. I'm pretty sure the order would have been botched if I hadn't been standing there looking over shoulders. Here is another thing. Who buys a $60,000 car and doesn't do SERIOUS research? Come on!
This "victim" mentality where everyone is supposed to watch out for your rights except yourself is what is destroying the country.
I spent hours learning about the car before I ordered it. Then, I confirmed that the correct options were listed BEFORE I signed the agreement and put down a deposit.
Know everything you possibly can about what you want, and know the order codes going in....
