The warranty on my Roush Phase 2 supercharged 2018 GT is set to expire. Now time for some power upgrades! I am working with an experienced and reputable shop / tuner and we have put the following mods together. Curious if others have swapped the pulley on their 2018 or newer Roush blowers and what power results they achieved. Would welcome any other thoughts. I am not one to be penny wise and pound foolish. Car has been lowered, has 305 Nittos DRs on rear, and runs great.

Here's the list:
- VMP 2.8" pulley, possibly smaller belt (to be evaluated)
- one-piece 3.5" aluminum driveshaft (DSS FDSH53-A)
- VMP boost-a-pump
- Billet oil pump and timing gear (apparently this is a 17 hour job but strongly advised for the Gen III Coyote at these power levels)
- Long-tube headers (likely Kooks or Stainless Works)
- Custom dyno tune - baseline and after mods
- Half-shafts - we discussed and decided to pass for now. If the car is not being tracked heavily / frequently and not many hard launches (i.e., mostly spirited driving), tech said the half-shafts should be fine. Said he's seen many others at 800-900 HP on stock half-shafts with no issues.

Thanks for the input.

I'd do the half shafts, but that's me. Read the "S550 Weakest Link" thread recently posted

- Rear wheels are 19x10; running 305/35/19 Nitto NT05Rs.
- Still running 91/93 octane.
- I hear you on the half-shafts. I am on the fence. I think I'd rather do the half-shafts than the long-tube headers, which are roughly 20-30 rwhp and cost like $1,800. Looks like the following half-shafts are very well rated:

https://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-halfshaft-axle-assly-upgrade-kit-1517all.html - rated to 1500 HP

https://www.americanmuscle.com/the-...pgrade-2000-hp-rated-right-side-ra8556x6.html - rated to 2000 HP

I will check out the "s550 Weakest Links" thread. Thanks for the reference.

Would 305 work on 19x9.5?

Look up the tire on nitto's website. It will tell you the minimum to maximum width. My 305's on 20" rims are recommended at 11.0".

Correct. Need at least a 10" wide rim for the 305s. I purchased the aftermarket PP1 rear wheels from American Muscle; its a very nice rim and 100% matches the Ford PP1 gloss back rims.

https://www.nittotire.com/competition-tires/nt05r-dot-compliant-competition-drag-radial-tire/

I heard that Toyo R888Rs are stickier than the Nittos, but, the Toyos sizing is a bit off when compared to Nitto and other reputable drag radial manufacturers.
Thanks. Nitto says they have zero tires in 275/40/19. At least when I searched by tire size.

sticky drag radials; I would suggest 305s or wider with a 10"-11" rear rim.

at 750hp (which is where I am currently at), you will blow the factory Michelin tires right off the friggin road.

My factory tires will be the Pirelli. My wheels are 19x9.5. That's what I've got to work with.

Nitto 555RIi Drag Radials are available in your stock size for the rear and will do the job very well. You can run the Pirelli’s on the front, or if you want to match up the tread pattern and look you can get Nitto 555G2’s for the front.
