Just curious if anyone is using the K&N interior cabin filter?

If so, any pros/cons? The stock filter location is a big enough bitch for R&Ring a stock paper filter, so wondering how a K&N fairs with the same R&R process.

Late reply but was browsing through.

I have one in mine and will say that I went some time without turning the HVAC system on, about 3 months or so, and when I turned it on for the first time last week was expecting a big blast of dust/dirt and had prepped for it by opening the windows in the garage. To my surprise though there wasn't really much. Certainly not like in my 2004 when I would do the same thing. Could just be a placebo, or maybe it is actually filtering better. The factory paper filter after 10,000 miles was disgusting.

Also, I don't know if I am just an idiot and went about changing this filter in the most difficult way possible. I think the process is the same for an aftermarket filter or OEM, just don't end up on your back in the passenger footwell looking up into the dash like I did. It was not pleasant.

I have it, it’s a solid product. I have them in all my cars, I pull and clean them all at same time

same thing I do w the engine filters. Pull clean, dry oil
