what's the tread depth on the inside of the tire? Seems quite a bit worn on that side.

The side you are talking about is actually the outside of the tire. I measured the inner side. The short groove on the outer edge of the tread is not very deep to begin with, as is the next narrow band. I will measure(with pics) the first narrow band from the outer edge

I do not know, I do not have much experience with these tires. That depends on many factors also.
