Watch the Youtube videos on changing the halfshafts. Make sure you have the appropriate tools including a torque wrench, a good pry bar or a couple of big screwdrivers. Take your time and focus on quality of the job and not just how fast you can do it.
Once the pry bar is in place, a good sharp jerk will remove the axle better than just steady pressure. I actually used 2 big screwdrivers opposite of each other to pry the axle out. That caused it to pop out straight instead of potentially binding due to pressure on just one side. It takes a pretty healthy shove to get the new one engaged. Make sure it is in place before reinstalling the hub.
If your new axles didn't come with the blue collar as shown in this picture, remove them from your old axles and put them on the new ones.
OH, one last thing. Make sure you have the car solidly on jackstands and that it is in a safe working environment. I had my front wheels on ramps and the back of the car on jackstands so it was level and very solid.
