Your way over thinking it! Just go for the one you like and keep the rpms down in the AM when you leave. I have the Borla S and leave the house while my neighbors are still in bed, they never notice, I’ve asked. Once the exhaust burns in it gets a bit mellower usually about 500 miles

Just pick the sound you like most. They'll all have some bark at cold start but won't be obnoxious. Unless you're backing in towards your neighbors, nothing to worry about.

At the end of the day your going to have to make up your own mind. Here's the video that sold me on my exhaust... one more video wont hurt lmao
Lol yeah I've seen that video and it sounds good. I think at this point I've literally seen them all.

I think that is my issue, I like and dislike things about all my options. At some point I'll just have to bite the bullet though. ARH seems like the most cold start neighbor friendly option.

:cough:

Seriously, My son's room is right above my car in the garage and cold starts at 6am do not wake him. I don't know why but this setup cold start is almost factory like.

Even if you don't buy my setup, try to find something used since you'll likely be turning it around and buying something else.

I just drive with the rear seat backs folded down. Can hear TONS more exhaust sound in the car now and it's the cheapest mod ever lol. And your neighbors will never know the difference!

Ive had the Solo Performance Mach XV for almost 1,000 miles. Love the sound. Cold starts aren't bad at all. There is more cabin drone than I was expecting. I'll adjust the J tubes this weekend and hope that helps. Other than that I really enjoy it!

I was leaning heavily towards the Mach Thunder then realized that's probably way too loud. Then I was leaning heavily towards the Mach XV since it was basically the Thunder but toned down. Then I started getting into ARH and Krona. The Mach XV has a fluttery sound to it on videos that I'm not a fan of. I like the revs but not completely in love with the take off/drive by, again, over video. I may get to hear it in person this weekend so that should help.

I wouldn't go by the videos. I too went back and forth between Solo and Krona. I'm very happy with my decision. It will scream when you need it to, but still sounds great on normal take offs.

Yeah videos aren't the best thing but I don't have many local S550s to listen to. I heard Krona in person but on a supercharged car so it wasn't completely accurate. Hopefully I get an idea of the Mach XV this weekend. It's a 2 hour drive though one way...

i think OP is just wasting time and wanting attention on the forum. quick look and he’s posted about either selling his car, the seats and him not liking them, and various catback questions repeatedly.

mods need to just close this thread.

.... Yeah that's my goal here. Why don't you look at the time frame of those posts about the seats and selling the car.

Also did not know it was against forums rules to start different threads for different questions trying to get as much info as I can.

Did you try putting the rear seat backs down yet?

Yep, I've driven that way a few times carrying things that required the extra room. It does sound a little better but I'm looking to make it overall louder inside and outside.

May also be worth it to check out the local noise laws for vehicles. Some places are really getting dumb about it.
