Which tire size would you choose?

Just picked up a set of SVE Drifts and I'm going with a 275 Continental tire. I have two profile options in that width, what would be the better choice and why? A 40 profile or a 35 profile? The car is 70% street and 30% autox. I'm lowered about .7 inch front and rear. Price is the same between the two sizes.

I'd go with the 40, purely based on more sidewall for street driving. Plus it looks better.

I spent the last two years DDing and autocrossing on 275/35R19s (two different sets of wheels and tires though), with a similar suspension drop from stock. I liked the size and the performance. Ride wasn't bad either.

First set of wheels I had on my car were drift wheels. Here is mine with 275/40s on stock suspension. I just like the 40 profile over the 35.

I ended up with a 40 profile. Decided that I wanted to fill as much fender gap as possible.
