Hello,

Just picked up my 2016 5.0 premium triple yellow that has a stage 1 Roush Supercharger. It’s triple yellow and only has 9,100 Miles’s on it.. I love it! Coming from a supercharged 370Z this thing just keeps pulling and pulling.. anyway the car also has the Roush axleback exhaust and i just can’t hear the supercharger whine.. ‍♂ this might be frowned upon here but i really would like to hear it lol.. I saw there is a thing called closed air box kit ?? Does it Truely work ? Will I sacrifice any power or reliability?

Next things - any other supporting mods you recommend? I have attached the build list done by Stang Hi in Louisiana

I saw they just came out with a brand new tune so I plan to contact my local Roush dealer to see if they can update it.

Thanks for the advice !

yeah the tvs,s dont really whine much, i'm running a 82mm pulley and only hear it a tiny bit .. if you run open air box you'll hear it more but your intake temps will be high at stand still

I try to make it that you don't hear it whine, so I made a cover for my JLT cai. I don't think I can even hear it. But hey, to each his own.

From what I see there it looks to already have an aftermarket tune. Before you have the dealer update the car I would contact the shop that worked on it.

I have a Roushcharged 15 GTPP, 79mm upper stock roush airbox same HE and T-stat you have... I love the whine myself but unfortunately the roush blowers don't really whine until you get down in pulley size even then its not much I barely hear mine same axlebacks and I have a xpipe which makes the car really loud!! I would for SURE get the VMP intake air temp sensor it gives you real IAT temps which are very important!! I don't think the roush tune supports it with that being said the difference in tune and power is night and day from roush, roush is a little too conservative, you can get the VMP TB and JLT intake they make a little difference in sound and more power.. hope it works out I've had mine for a while now NO issues if you need any help just let me know!! Good luck have fun man.. be careful LOL
