Just checked mine. All 4 showing cracking. Manufactured 49/15, 50/15, 50/15, 02/16. Put on the car March 2016 and have 20k miles.
Is that cracking on the A/S 3+, or the MP4SS?

A/S 3+ And worse, just took it to get checked out and they noticed that my left front is corded on the inside. They think it's cause of the caster being out of spec ( I had an alignment done 6k miles ago) ugh.

Cracking only 4yrs old wow that’s not normal. How many miles did you get out of those tires?

How far out was the caster? Did they give you a toe spec, too?

Caster 2 degrees (spec 6.2-7.7) toe at 0 degrees
...how did you get your caster to two degrees...?

Even with two degrees of camber and zero toe, there should not be adverse or uneven wear. Tire pressure needs to be lower (like 30-32 warm).

That’s just what my alignment sheet said from the dealership

I don't think that's possible on this car. I'd ask for a recheck for free. About 6.0-6.5 deg is about as low as it'll go.

My plan is to have it checked to make sure nothing has changed from that reading and try to get warranty coverage for the cracking. Any idea what could cause wear like that? I just drive the thing to and from work

Tire pressures? It's probably a defect.

I've tried to keep it consistent at 32 cold. My tpms reads about 1 lb different than the gauge I have, not sure which is more accurate.

What was the response by Michelin or tire dealer? Willing to do anything?
I am trashing the original P0 tires. Not a good match in Boston and considering the A/S 3

Think I’m SOL. Looked through Michelin’s warranty paperwork and they won’t cover if there’s uneven wear due to a mechanical or alignment issue, or if you don’t have paperwork documenting rotation every 6k miles. Will hopefully find out what my alignment is and get it dialed in to BMR Street spec on Wed. Have a set of Conti ECS to be mounted. No issues with a previous set of A/S 3+ I had on my Scion.

Not sure what caused the changes since the last alignment, but the front is fixed. They said they can’t adjust the rear camber without an aftermarket camber arm, etc. limited on install shop options so what’s the cheapest way to make it dummy proof? Saw Steeda has a rear camber adjustment kit for $150.
