Hey friends, bare with me here.... First off, my 18 gt just had whipple stage 2 installed last week.. Do yo at only 640rwhp.. 4 deg' s of timing total in pull.. After 6000 rpms roughly... Now that might be just bad gas...?? Now other issue.. Sautrday driving normal, the car popped a 2119 code.. (Went into " drive mode not available).. Check engine light stayed on... Yesterday started car,, no check engine light,, then put it in gear and , again.. Same thing.. Its hard to explain but it seems like the car is not responsive to throttle with pedal, and it is inconsistent... The code olis a throttle code.. You can look it up for yourself if you want.. So I th I k I have2 separate problems going on here.. Timing is gas, and code is throttle.?????

What fuel? Also I would check all your fuses. When the dash starts giving errors and say drive mode not available, its usually a fuse that popped.

I will check that out.. Thanks.. I'm getting different ideas of what this all is but all the info I can get the better.. I am using 93 octane but my guy that installed the kit got gas from somewhere that I don't know.
. I think I'm going to put 5 gallons of racing fuel in the tank... But should I drain out suspect gas thats in there.1/2 tank..? And how do I drain tank??thanks

If you don't have an adapter to go on the fuel rail to hook a line too then I would just drive it around and stay out of boost until you use almost all the bad gas. Then put the race fuel in it.

You have a few options for draining the tank.

You can try to siphon it, but as far as I know the Fords have siphon protection through the fill nozzle, but you may be able to work a tube in if you stick it through the little filler funnel down into the tank. The funnel should be located in your trunk where your spare tire stuff is.

Second way is to siphon through the fuel pump hole, so you'd have to pull the rear seats and the pump to get into the tank that way. That seems like a messy and not very good way to do it.

You can drop the tank and have it drained. I'd highly suggest taking it to a mechanic/dealer for that because there are a lot of things that could go wrong, especially if you don't have the necessary equipment.

Lastly, you could unhook the fuel lines from the rails and cycle the key to have the pump push all the fuel out. This will take some time though.

Ultimately up to you, but good luck on getting it running right!

Dude you got 3 different threads on same shit on the front page.

If you want help, contain it all in one thread.
