Question about ebay spoilers

There are a bunch of YouTube videos about removing it they all are about the same. Basic run through is.
Pull down the trunk lid liner = easy
Remove the plugs from trunk lid = easy
Remove nuts from factory spoiler.....do not drop them inside the trunk lid= easy
Getting the spoiler off the trunk lid, lift up firmly on one side to break the tape free so you can run some fishing line under it and use it to saw back and forth along the tape to break it’s mighty grip.
Note in the videos that there are a couple of studs that you need to work around and fish it back under to keep going. A bit of prying and firm lifting help. Take your time and you will be good.
I will say becareful how hard and fast you pull the fishing line you are creating heat and you put marks in the clear coat (most likely on the lip of the trunk lid, keep the line straight out and not pullled down towards the lid and you will be good )
Also the plastic pry bars work good as wedges if your working along, but be careful the trunk lid does dent fairly easy (don’t ask how I know this, I was lucky as it was small and hidden under the spoiler and it doesn’t show at all)
Getting the tape residue off looks like a mess when you pull the spoiler off, but really using your finger it willl just slowly roll up of the lid fairly easy, ( it looks like you just created a disaster when you first see it.....lol)
It really not all that hard, so much as time consuming and slow going. Mine broke free fairly easy but then the tape just didn’t want to let go.
Sorry for being so long, but if I had known some of this stuff, it would have made my experience doing it more enjoyable.

So my GT350 ebay spoiler came in today! It looks awesome! Don't know why I was so concerned. Only thing is that it does not come with the mounting hardware. Just a roll of thin 3m tape. Now I need to get some bolts and washers to get this bad boy on. Here are some pics of the spoiler just sitting on trunk...

I wanna know if your holes line up with the spoiler you purchased. And how good or bad is the paint?

The paint is pretty darn good. Very glossy. I dont see anything wrong with the paint. I currently do not have a spoiler on my trunk. So no holes to line up with gt350 spoiler

Zero issues with mine. Not a 350 style but eBay. Top painted gloss black
To match roof and the underside satin/ matte to better match the rear, side, front splitters.

I think im going to use the Gorilla mounting tape (double sided). I’ve good experience with the brand Gorilla.

I clay barred the trunk lid, wiped down with rubbing alcohol, applied 3M Adhesion promoter and ran two lines of 3M Super Strength Molding Tape. Thing is rock solid after the tape cures and has its final bond. Id recommend it for sure.

I purchased some 3M VHB double sided tape with some adhesion promoter. The promoter is in a spray can. Just wondering if yours was in a spray can and if so how did you apply it to your trunk area. I dont want to just spray randomly onto trunk. Im thinking of spraying some on a microfiber pad then spreading it where the spoiler will be mounted. Let me know what you think. Thanks
