Yes, but that doesn't mean that it's not available. I have seen available cars in a dealer's inventory that have green window stickers that were 11 months old...http://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=1FA6P8CF0J5183527
sticker is green, doesn't that mean is a customer special ordered car?
Ah! Figured someone special ordered it! I've seen custom orders on lots many times. Shit happens people can't afford it after it comes in. Or they get impatient and take another car off the lot or from another dealer in the meantime, etc. My point is the dealer probably didn't really plan on having it... ie: they probably already have a couple of dealer ordered PP2's. And this one that they thought they had sold is not sitting on the lot, so they might actually realize very quickly how NOT RARE they are and lower price to move it quickly. (since it was kind of unplanned inventory)Just a heads up, the one at Cavalier is the one I originally ordered, they changed their pricing after the order was done. Would not do x plan pricing. Wouldn't budge off sticker at all, tried to feed me some horse shit that no one can get them at the moment. Pissed me off so I went down the street to Priority Ford Norfolk, they beat their pricing by a lot, 42k for a 2019 with active exhaust and recaros. The 19 will be here next week according to Cotus. I don't recommend dealing with Cavalier Greenbrier, the Chesapeake store is easier to deal with.
Anyone who falls for the dealer BS and pays over msrp needs their head checked. I had a dealer tell me only 50 were made in 2018. They may have made less in 2018 then they will in 2019 but this will not be a collectible car.Ah! Figured someone special ordered it! I've seen custom orders on lots many times. Thanks, this is helpful as I was wondering how to remove and reinstall for putting in tow hook receiver. I've not dealt with the plastic rivets before and see it mentions a tool, so is it safe to assume I need to get more plastic rivets and this tool before removing in order to put it back on?I received my new front splitter yesterday so I'm adding in some pictures for future reference in case anyone needs to replace of remove theirs.
The splitter comes with a hardware kit shown on the packaging as P0611400 ... installation instructions included. I'll be curious to see if the majority of the tech's followed the instructions as I know mine did not.
The splitter itself carries part # JR3Z-17626-AA Retail Price is $855.88
Yes, I think it may be $5 at Harbor Freight. I bought some plastic rivets on Amazon, but they may be available at HF as well. Thanks, this is helpful as I was wondering how to remove and reinstall for putting in tow hook receiver. I can't really improve on the silver PP2 pictures in this article https://www.cars.com/articles/quick...-mustang-gt-performance-pack-2-1420700305046/I used rokblokz for the fronts only so far. I don't think these things stand much of a chance against this wild poke, but we'll see. Better than nothing.
