When I spoke to Lund, they said that each ngauge has 5 unlocks. My car was put back to stock but for any ngauge to be used it must be unlocked and that is done when you purchase a tune from them for this handheld. you provide them the serial # of the device and they take care of the rest.

That is why i noted the unit has 4 unlocks left.
