They have currently had mine for an hour and a half doing I spection and detail they claim. Lol. Should be picking it up here very shortly. I'll wash the damn thing myself.

Agreed, a real shop with a reputation for excellent work, definitely worth it. The wash my car got for delivery was a joke, took them 2 hours!! It looked like they forgot to wipe it down, in the end I was happy, the less they touched it the better. What pissed me off was the 2 hour wait for the "awesome detail".

I just looked at the guy and said, I got this, I'm out'a here, shook his hand and took off.

Getting a wash here in Texas can be a disaster. First off, it's probably hard water so you have to deal with that mess and hard water spots. That's why my Accord went straight to the detailer first few days after I bought it. You wouldn't believe the crap that comes off it after using IronX and pulling the contaminants off and out of the paint. The transporting of the car and it sitting out on the lot are enough to contaminate it quite a bit.

The attention to detail that these detailers have (no pun intended) is insane. I don't know how they look for and find what they do. This is why I pay them a good chunk of money to do amazing work.

I live 1/4 mile from a gravel pit, cars don't stay clean for long, the house even gets dingy fast inside and out. Our water is very hard so I don't wash the car at home.

Lmao exactly! When I got my ecoboost it was fully loaded as I said before, so he explained something's I didn't know about, but this is base so I know everything already, and half of it won't even be I cluded lol. But ya, 5 minutes on the other car could of been sufficient enough, didn't need 45 minutes of me saying "ya ya ya, oh ok" haha
