I completely agree with you. Pictures are so deceiving. In these pics the 2018 actually looks quite nice. However, when I took my 2017 to the dealership last weekend and parked it beside a 2018 GT for my own first hand side by side comparison, 100% of the people who where just walking around the lot and kicking tires commented on my 2017, not the new 2018 and wanted to buy mine over the 2018, until I told them it wasn't one of the sale cars on the lot, it was mine. Once they found out it was a 2017 they couldn't figure out where Ford's head was at with the exterior changes to the 2018. AKA they all, without exception, thought the 2018 looked wimpy and physically smaller than the 2017 ... their exact words not mine. And I'm referring to 20 different people over the span of 15 mins.I prefer the 2017.. Just my opinion.
Everyone has their own opinions, but I can't see how this looks wimpy.
The front end doesn't look much smaller than this:
Or this:
Or even this:
They all say Mustang to me.
The hood on my 18 is quite substantial too. They all say Mustang. But check the slope. From the windshield they all are substantial hoods. Says the guy who actually drove Mustangs from those eras. Make no mistake Ford is gradually trying to change the Stang into a sports car from muscle car. If not already.
I am not seeing it - the Fox bodies were pretty short-hooded and sloped as far as I can tell:But check the slope. From the windshield they all are substantial hoods. Says the guy who actually drove Mustangs from those eras. Make no mistake Ford is gradually trying to change the Stang into a sports car from muscle car. If not already.
Those are the best Kona blue pictures I have seen.Wimpy....yup...;)
My observations between my old car and new car looking at it from the front.
2017 has more of a muscular appearance as the 2018 has a much more aggressive, sporty appearance. I prefer either.
