Flood Ford has been the name that has popped up a number of times when it comes to shopping for an extended warranty. I called Ford directly and went to the local dealer, both very expensive. Checked Flood Ford's price online and here is what I found for Premium Care with $100 deductible:

Flood
6/36 - $1095
8/48 - $2310

FMC
6/36 - $2220
8/48 - $3661

Am I comparing the same warranties?

Yes. I have the Flood Ford for two cars, and it’s a bonafide Ford warranty. It shows up in the dealer computer, any dealer for that mattter. So, we are glad we did it. When I bought the car, the dealer was offering me the extended warranty, and I declined, stating I have 3 years to get one, and Flood Ford was waiting for people like me.

Do you receive a warranty packet in the mail?

It’s emailed to you. Once you go online and enter your VIN, you add your PII, name, address, etc. After that, you have an account or something...forgot if I called Flood Ford to give them my credit card information or not, but it’s easy. Look at the options, years, coverage, etc., enter your VIn for eligibility and then call Flood Ford, sooner rather than later if your warranty expires soon. The prices do go higher year over year despite being lower than Ford actual, inflation, or who know...I compared my original price, $890 and now it’s something like 1200-1400, your mileage may vary so to speak. All I can say, is do it. It’s way more affordable than Ford Direct. Good luck

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
I bought from Zeigler online about 6 months or so ago. I have car leased for 5 years so just wanted it covered till lease up and I don't drive much. So bought 5yr./36,000 miles 50 dollar deductible premium care. Got it for only $620.00 and checked there website a few weeks later out of curiosity and cost had almost tripled. Had my dealership check with Ford and its ligate its in the Ford system. Even my dealership was shocked I got it that cheap.
