P0443 evap circuit fault A

Turned on the car and CEL is on. It's p0443. Clear it and go on my way. 10 minutes later check the Ngauge and its back. Anyone know what the deal is? Procharged cat with longtubes and exhaust, catted.

But yours clears? Mines comes back if i scan for codes.

Was gonna go have some fun in Mexico not sure if I should turn around.

Found it upon arriving at home. Evap harness plug not in all the way. Plushed it and clicked. Cleared DTC and didn't come back.

Don't delete helped me out could help the next guy, had same issue about once a month now good to go. Wasn't pluged in all the way.

This’s the only thing that I found that’s near the throttle body that’s unplugged; is this it?

Not at my car now to verify, it was kinda dark when I found it. Plug it in if disconnected and reset code.

Is that cable shown indeed the right cable? I am having this same issue but the cable is plugged in. May be a faulty jumper though considering I have an extension on it for my GT350 manifold

Nvm. It was that cable. I unplugged mine and plugged back in and the code cleared. Maybe that jumper is going bad for me. Time Will tell.

I don't think that was my issue: I think it was my vacuum routing. I routed the passenger side catch can back into the cold air intake, when I should've routed it into the intake manifold, which I did last night, capping off the port that I connected it to.

I got the idea partially from this thread and also from reading a Boss 305 intake manifold install guide (which was admirably detailed): it said to route the passenger side vacuum line into a port right behind the throttle body, which's noticeably missing from the Holley intake, but that's 'cause Holley moved the nipples to the end of the manifold nearest to the firewall and in the damn center on the bottom. ugh! what a bitch to reach! (shrugs)

I'll follow up with any new details.

so rerouting my vacuum line seemed to eliminate the code, but my engine light's still on 'cause my IMs are ready. -_-

to reach inbetween the intake manifold's runners, I got some stupid long needle nose pliers.

onto the next problem.

fyi, all the codes that my pony were throw'n were: P0443, P2008, P2011, P2014, P2019. this vacuum reroute fixed them all.
