Well what I thought was a battery problem with the car cutting out turns out not to be the battery.

I took it for a run today and it kept cutting out while at lot revs specially when in traffic.

I recently put a custom Steeda tune on it and as it was fine before all I can think is that it's this.

Plan B is to contact Steeda and plan C to revert to stock but that's not ideal when I've paid nearly five hundred pounds for the tuner.

Has anyone else had any problems with cut off? Petrol was low but still more than twenty miles in the tank. Welcome any thoughts

1. Fill 'er up and see if it still happens.
2. Revert to stock tune

Fuel gauges are not renowned for accuracy & it may have been lower. Plus running fuel low means any dirt or water in the tank may have been picked up by the pump

Fuel could be the issue but lots of us have run it low and had no issues.
I'd switch Plan C with Plan B in the first instance to see if that resolves the issue then go to Steeda.

Nope it's literally like it's just stalled. Engine start button flashes - push it and she starts again.

i have a steeda tune on mine, no issues so far, but i do agree with the rest of the comments made that i would revert back to stock see how the car performs and if all good then report back to steeda with your issue and they should send you another file, they will probably ask for your car specs addons etc again and confirm that they havent missed anything

Fill it up first. These are mass-produced cars, the fuel gauge isn't calibrated to each vehicle. You were likely low enough on gas that any sloshing of what fuel remained was keeping the pickup from pulling fuel.

Put some gas in it and try to reproduce problem. If you can't, you have your answer.
