Sounds like you either have bad luck or can't drive. The S550 is straight as an arrow at 100+ mph. Most planted car I've ever driven. No vibration, only thing I hear when going that fast is a little wind noise.

That's why all the numbers on this thread are so inflated.
How does going in a straight line at 70+ picking up vibrations in a car mean i cant drive? I could probably drive at 70mph straight asleep.

there is a huge thread on vibrations in these cars, look in the Issues/TSB thread. Some people lemon their cars over this. Its there, you may not notice it. You may think its road noise. Or you truely are lucky and you got one that dosnt. Never had a single car do this, including my 2011 and 2010 mustangs

Wonder who all here is going off what the computer calculates compared to what you hand calculate. The computer ain't accurate.
You know you can "tune" your computer to match your hand calc right?

There's a thread on it.

That's what I need to do. I need to search for that thread. If it involves Forscan, I'm in luck! :) But I was thinking the people with all stock cars. The computer is very generous with the mpg readout.

I said bad luck or you can't drive. Sounds like you just had some bad luck. For how many people report issues on this forum, the size that isn't on this forum with no issues is massive. So your sample size is awfully small. I have no idea about this vibration at 70+. I've read some of the thread. I guess mine isn't doing it.

Huh? I never said you had no idea what you are talking about. I said it sounds like bad luck to me. I get a little vibration at slow speeds because of my exhaust, but that's it. Maybe stock GT exhaust resonates at a frequency that makes the car vibrate. 3 cars is a very small sample size. Try 1,000 cars for a decent sample size based on how many 2015-2017 Mustangs were sold. I think the evap going out is a bigger issue than this vibration. Sucks either way dude. I feel for you. Life is frustrating sometimes.

Sounds like really bad luck. Maybe you should try some new wheels and tires. My cruise is set to 74mpg to and from work everyday. No issues for me.

Ive driven 5 of these cars, and all of them had a vibration/noise at 70+, and felt good, but not inspiring at high speeds. Im used to cars that feel like they tighten up at higher speeds and feel more solid. Was going to switch to a manual GT, but now im thinking camaro
I have a similar experience with my GT, after 80mph or so it does not feel under control. Maybe I'm too used to BMWs which is what I had been driving before, but this car feels a little "loose" at high speed.

Maybe better rubber would help, also I'm still on stock suspension other than the lowering springs, so that might be it.

Really makes me miss hydraulic steering too, really wish we didn't have this electric stuff. I get the reasons but it just doesn't feel right.

I also noticed that the S550 GT is a total cruiser car, especially after coming directly from a high-strung, jerky, AWD turbo (WRX).

I had just driven down to Charlotte NC last weekend from DC (about 400 miles one way). Between 75 - 85 mph, I got nearly 27 mpg (2016 GT w/ PP). I was impressed at the mileage and relative comfort
That's great news. I went from 3.55 in EB to 3.73 in GT w/PP and was shocked at the difference. I'm only a few hundred miles in but was not expecting to see your MPG. :clap2:

The highest I've had my 13 (since I don't have an s550 yet) is 85(speed limit was 60 oops) cause a J**cka$$ truck didn't let me merge so I went in the left lane and went about 85 to pass him and a semi (it wasn't the semi). I was not happy the left lane was empty he could have gotten over but decided to be a butt! That taught him to let a Mustang in!

Mine has no weird vibrations, have had 2 sets of wheels/tires on it and no problems with either of them. Though having said that it'll probably start tomorrow.

My MPGs average 22-23 and I do a lot of hwy driving and fill my tank twice a week. My engine is stock except for the Mishi induction tube, and that appears to only have dropped my MPG by 0.1 or 0.2.
How do you like the Mishi tube - what difference did it make? I tried to buy one twice and had bad luck but that's another story

Just got back from a 1300mile round trip from WV to Nashville and back. Car does so good just rolling down the freeway its a joy. Only complaint is the leather seat can get sticky...even with the coolers.

As far as how the car feels at speed. Mine started to make me at little nervous around 130...started to feel floaty. I let off at 140. Dunno what cars some of you folks are used too but some of the cars I have riden in..this thing is great lol.
