Anyone recommend a big spoiler that doesn't look too silly?

yomamma219 I 've seen those reviews too. Too bad, because I really like the GT350R spoiler...

I guess I will be waiting for the aftermarket 2018 rear spoiler as well. Unless I decide to go with the California Special at the end. It looks good, it is discreet and follows perfectly the lines of the car.

The CS Spoilers are sharp too. I just have the problem of having a hole in the center of my trunk lid from the factory spoiler that I don't want to have to worry about plugging with some BS. Otherwise I'd have splurged for a 350R spoiler by now probably.

Depending on what your price range is, you could hit up some of the site vendors and see if they can get you any better pricing on a quality one.

I am also considering a CS Spoiler though since I think it would also fit the hole the factory spoiler leaves. Just waiting to see what 2018 brings us. :D

I've only seen -meh- reviews for the ebay 350R spoilers. The reviews I've seen say they look the part but flap around on the high way. That's why I am waiting for some aftermarket 2018 spoilers. They look similar to the 350R spoiler but with a center post. I figure the center post would add support so even cheap ebay knockoffs should be fairly sturdy, once they are released, at least.
Oh jeez, do you have a link to that? Would love to read about that.

There are fiberglass which I think is a good middle ground between CF and plastic??

Love the 350R spoiler but since mine has raised lip spoiler it will expose holes and I don't want to get the trunk repainted already.
The 2018 PP spoiler looks great and I would get that too.

A lot of them come with a plastic cover that "connects" the bottom of the spoiler and covers the holes. I'm not sure if I'm a fan but filling the holes looks like it's going to be a huge pain.

Well the ebay ones at least. Maybe you could get a CF or fiberglass spoiler and just buy the plastic thing? I dunno. Man modding this car ain't simple.

Just look at the CJPP review on the fiberglass one, it discusses exactly what I was talking about.

I remember seeing good things on the anderson composites CF one though. I don't recall reviews about the fiberglass one, though I believe AC is generally considered a solid brand. Speaking 2nd hand though as I haven't balled-out for any of their parts.

If anyone has manufacturing resources I would be willing to brush up on my 3D modeling to make a 2018 PP look-a-like spoiler and get first to market with it haha. PM me if your in the know ;)

Is that the Anderson Composites Track Pack spoiler with wickerbill? If so, does the wickerbill make much of a difference as far as planting the rear at speed or is it just good at creating drag?
Nope. This one is from carbon dynamics, and yes, there are drag penalties at the high settings. You notice a decrease MPG on the highway.

Oh for some reason I thought fiberglass would be stronger than the plastic ebay ones.

I have the MMD V series spoiler and love it. Bought it from American Muscle prepainted and the color is spot on with no imperfections. It gives the car an aggressive look but not to outrageous.

Honestly I spent a whole afternoon looking thru the spoiler thread and imo the cleanest most streamlined spoilers are the track pack and the Steeda q series. I ended up with the track pack since it bolted on using the existing holes from the factory trunk lip as well as 3m adhesive. Only thing that steered me away from the Steeda was the fact it was only stuck on with 3m adhesive and didn’t use bolts.
