Thinking about a set of forged wheels for 2015 GT and I saw these. I am not well versed in wheels (Forged vs flow, etc) but I like the looks (in black) and the price seems to be really decent for a forged wheel set.

Does anyone have any experience with these wheels?

Also, I have the black PP wheels on my GT now (19 inch staggered) but wondering about these as they are 20 inch (also staggered but wider too (9.5 front and 10.5 rear). Wondering if I should stick with 19 inch vs moving up to 20s?

Thx!

So it at one point retailed just under $4k for a set, but now is listed at $1.5K. Seems like a smoking deal, but the questions you should be asking would be, where are they made? What safety certification tests has it passed? Is it JWL/VIA or TUV Certified? None of that is stated on their website. I'm sure if it's Shelby branded, some certification tests were done, but since it's not on the site that's the first thing I think of.

I wouldn't be happy that the wheel weights 28lbs despite being forged, but honestly given that it's such a huge discount, this may be worth jumping on if you like that style/design.

I agree 28 lbs is kinda hefty for a forged 19" wheel. But $1500 for the set is a good price.

I would get a set for my 2017 GT, but the engraved "SHELBY" ruins it for me. That is like slapping a "turbo" badge on a car that is obviously not a turbo :tsk:
