I just ordered a set of breathers from jpc. Can someone please let me know the proper hose routing with the procharger setup? Im assuming the passanger line gets capped. Does the intake get capped? Or does the line from the firewall still need a vacuum source? Thanks in advance

Crank case breathers I assume. Here is mine... you can unplug the rear line, not needed. Cap the intake port. Make sure you gut the valve on the passengers side.

Ok so all the hoses get deleted? Cap the intake hose, and leave the one near the firewall open?

Yep, really cleans things up. You will get some smell, but if your catless already then it's nothing new.

That line is the line for the IMRC, you can leave it undone. Some say put a filter on it, I never did but might not be a bad idea.

Mine is uncapped at the IMRC. It hasn't changed the way it runs at all. Pulls like a freight train with this F1A.

Hey man just wanted to give u a heads up,i am a fan of doing the breathers but my car just did not like not having a pvc valve. Not right away but soon after breathers my car would smoke on cold start in the morning. My idle also seemed to be affected with running breathers, some guys have no issues at all but some do.Another thing i noticed is my car has only 7k miles on it and has had 6 oi changes so my oil was always very very clean, after 700 miles with breathers my oil that had only few hundred miles on it looked like it had 4k miles on it,dark brown.Again just want to share my experience with u,i put my pvc valve and hoses back on and the smoke stopped right away and idle got better.

When you had your breathers on did you unscrew the PCV (check valve) out of the cam cover or did you put breather on over it?

I took the check valve out of the pcv valve, believe it or not that is when starting getting worse for my car. Also before the breathers i ran the procharger for a year with no catch can and never. ad as much as a drop of oil in my air intake or throttle body.I pulled my intake manifold off to fix a imrc problem and the intake had a thick coat of oil all through it,thats when the pvc system got put back on.

I'll add, when I put breathers on my valve covers, the driver side one spit oil everywhere. I put the hoses back on sucking into intake for now. I also have the ford racing Seperator hooked up to try and limit oil in to the intake.

I haven't had any issues yet but I will keep an eye on them. I put them on about 1000 miles ago and am due for an oil change. Oil still looks clean but we will see after a fresh one. The passengers side does look like a smoking gun if I open the hood after a few good pulls.

I haven't seen any oil yet, but I know this is an issue for some. Something I keep an eye on for sure. Worst case I'll go with a catch can but I just hate all the lines running everywhere...

Thats what bothered me the worst,my oil was always very clean,so clean that when checking it,it was hard to see on the stick. After only a few hundred miles with breathers on my oil started getting pretty brown looking.Let that go for 3k like i usually do and it would have looked sludge i bet.The smoking onmcold starts was embarrassing too lol.
