We've recently received a really nicely made four piece cap set from our US Ford parts distributor. These are Ford licensed parts and fit over the oil filler, header tank, brake fluid and windscreen washer caps. They are machined from billet aluminium and laser etched with three different logos GT, 5.0 or Ford Performance.

The fit is excellent - they come with double sided tape fitted and are very snug once on. They eliminate the different yellow coloured parts in the engine compartment and smarten things up nicely (especially with the ProAlloy header tank - also in stock)

We have the GT logo type in stock and can obtain the other designs in a week or so.

Cost of the set of four is £159 inc VAT and postage to mainland UK addresses.

Let me know if you need more information or would like to order a set

Nice Dave...I am keen on these.

Do they come in black by any chance? I have seen similar items that are painted black with the etched design left as per the metal.

Seem's a lot for stick on parts however? Is there not a direct replacement set?

Only in silver at present. I don't know of a direct replacement set - that would be a lot more complicated to make. Price wise these compare pretty favourably with the Roush ones. However the Roush ones don't fit 2015+ Mustang header tank, washer or brake fluid.

It's much the same size as the Mishimoto part and the stock part. The quality of construction and welding is what marks it out really - it's made in the UK and is available in textured black or mirror polished finish with or without a sight glass. The price including the sight glass is £349 inc VAT.

The reason I asked about size, if you swap the coolant reservoir and install an oil catch can, it's a very tight fit in there.

We've checked it with a couple of types of catch can with no issues - in fact with the Ford Racing one there is a bit more space where the can sits due to the shape at the back.

The pro alloy header tanks are the nuts. I have the polished one and although it does nothing at all, it does look good in the car.

May have to invest in a set of the caps Dave.
