After months of searching to find my the exact color combo at an MSRP deal, my beautiful new GT350 arrived last night. Sad to see the Hellcat go, but I can only accommodate 1 garage queen. This was a tough decision. The Hellcat motor is absolutely incredible, but the looks/sound and overall driving experience of the GT350 won me over. :ford:

Anyone know why some window stickers say "special order" and others do not? Also, my car already had the oil filter wrench with it. Thought those were mailed to new owners??

Typically special order is ordered for a customer and not dealer stock it seems.

Very nice. Congratulations. I went the other way :) I agree that the GT350 is a monster in the turns and when that engine gets above 4000 RPM it's sweet music all the way up to 8250. If I did much track work, the GT350 would absolutely be the better car for me. I do a ton of long highway drives so the HC fits my needs better at this time. We'll see what happens once the GT500 comes out.

You lost me at "garage queen", but congrats.

Were you driving west on the 60 a few days ago?

If you were, did you notice a Dodge truck trying to keep up?

Congrats! Great choice in color :D

And the window stickers that say Special Order are customer placed orders. If they don't say that, it means the dealership put in their own order to sell off the showroom floor.

Congrats. Got mine about a month ago. Mine also had the filter wrench kit included, sitting in the trunk. They mailed me the FPC display piece a couple weeks later.

Cars made later with the canister filter don't get a filter wrench, correct?

Those shouldn't work. The canisters look completely different than a regular filter.

Very nice. Congrats! Will you track it? Are there any road courses in the area? We had vacationed in Tempe & south this pass winter. Looking forward to it again.

Congrats! It is so nice to find exactly what you would have otherwise ordered for yourself. That was the exact situation for me as well. In my case I sold a Porsche 993 to get the Shelby. No room for another "nice car" in the garage. I just got my Shelby that I paid msrp for off the transport on Memorial Day. Enjoy the ride!
