So the Port of Auckland website currently has Tarago alongside today and departing tonight. Fingers crossed (but it explains the 21 April departure date because she is due to sail at 2330 so close enough to 21 April).

I think it departs tomorrow night, not tonight.

The other question I'd love to know (purely from a transport and logistics position) is why there is another RoRo boat sitting at dock for 5 days?

These boats only take 24 hours to unload. Can't see these boats taking too much RoRo from NZ. 5 days in port?

A boat in port like this doesn't earn revenue.

The father in law used to tell me stories when he worked electrical in cargo ships about how sometimes they would "create" mechanical issues so they could stay onshore an extra day waiting for a part...

The conspiracist in me thinks something is suss.

Imagine the aggregated cost of this delay - at least 2 boats plus any others lined up behind.

Ha! Yes. Can't see this boat being in port for so long being logistical. Unless is waiting on some seriously important / valuable cargo to be loaded which is imperative it can't leave without. Its depart time and date is constantly being pushed back. Like the Tarago, it's next port is Brisbane.

Not withstanding the mix up regarding where the ship currently is - that's a long duration between arrival and delivery to you I would have thought (unless that is a very conservative date).
