Yup you can see the red ticks before the 7k. I thought the Coyote would be able to hit 7k redline with the direct & port injection added not stay the same... so disappointing.
Might be the ecoboost dash.

Go back and read page one.

Ford’s legendary 5.0-liter V8 engine has been thoroughly reworked. It is more powerful and revs higher than any Mustang GT before.

Assuming it's the same orange one it's a 5.0. That being said, the dash is clearly a show set-up and not functional (621 to E on less than 1/4 tank) so I would not read too much into it.

Don't forget the dash figures are all manipulated so don't believe anything that's on there.

Until official figures are out, we don't know anything really

Here we see hints again of 465hp and 5.0L.

Notice that Time is 6:21:24
and miles to Empty is 621.

I think those are both hints about something coming up on June 21st.

No idea what.... release of the HP #'s, opening order books, launch of GT500 ?

I remember seeing either in the video or pics it was over 7000. It will be over 7000.

I don't know what is worse the fake GT500 theories (the car has now been said to have pretty much every engine created) or the troll gauges from Ford in the 2018 cars creating large amounts of fake information. Add in the click bait sites :headbonk::headbonk::headbonk:

I would not be so disheartened. Looks like they are trying to compete with the Camaro with the 10 speed.

Anyone knows what the redline/rev limiter is for 2018 GT?
Nope. Lots of speculation but nobody knows. Lots of hints at Easter-eggs in the gauge cluster, but it's a lot of numerology. You can find numbers to support all kinds of theories. No doubt a few will be correct, and a lot will be dead wrong. All we really know is that torque, HP, redline will be "more". How much is a bit of a guess. There have been reasonable theories from 455hp up to 470.

Did they say the rods and pistons are forged now? Same crank?
