Why is it that vin numbers much higher than mine (300280, built 1st March) have already been registered at the docks, given a ship and even found their way to the UK? Whilst mine is at the docks waiting to be signed in
This last part of delivery is the hardest wait ever

There is no logic to the Ford system :shrug: I think they just draw numbers out of a hat to see who gets on the boat today :lol:

The last few weeks are the worst huh... we all feel your pain!
I'm starting to think it's totally random for transportation.
If it helps around gauging time, mine was built 9 Feb and got to the dealers in UK yesterday.

Just received one of Haynes automated order updates which states that mine is still in Zeebrugge and delivery is now expected week ending 29th April

No response to Monday's email to [email protected] as to where it actually is but it arrived in Zeebrugge via the Tijuca on 25th of March - so what is it doing? (Or what is being done to it?)

Brain working overtime now as to whether-or-not is still in one piece - my first company Volvo 850 T5 in 1997 "fell off" the transporter at the Dealer and was written off, I did get a better stock model substituted at no extra charge back then but this is different!

Have you checked on the WWL shipping site that status is "delivered from". If so then technically it should be booked on the Autostar the following Sat or possibly Tues. I rather imagine that if that status is showing and it usually does within two weeks of Zeebrugge landing then it could already be over here. There are many tales of people suddenly being called by their dealer !

Picked up mine today from Allen Ford Warwick after a long wait from ordering last June and I'm very pleased with the dealer and the car, which is fabulous. Interestingly they told me they have ordered a batch of wholesale Mustangs (GT and Ecoboost) in a range of colours to sell from stock rather than to order.

It will already be in the UK and most likely sat at the dealers, they are never in a hurry to let the customer have the car

It seems to be hit and miss guys. I was on the Tijuca and it got to my dealer yesterday.
Others in the Tijuca apparently got their cars into the UK a week before mine (mine says Delivered From 30 March as well by the way) so it seems there isn't much of a logic to it.
Hope you get them soon guys!

anybody who had their car manufactured around the 3rd of march heard anything from anyone? Karen was suppose to get back to me but I got nothing :(

The Talisman sets sail on the 20th of April and after that the next ship is the Salome which wont set sail until MAY! I had an initial del date of 6th of May.

Now im getting extremely frustrated. The car was manufactured 6 weeks ago today!!! and Ford still haven't managed to put it on a bloody boat! That's absurd!!! At this rate, I don't think ill get it until end of June.

Hope you got some answers and have everything crossed it wasn't damaged in transit.

Looking back through Manders original timeline, mine seems to be about spot on for 2 weeks in Belgium then over here. Maybe quicker from Southampton to dealer I guess
